Plein Air Painting with a Limited Palette Online
Registration now open for July
Dominique Medici Studio is taking the easel and cameras outdoors this summer to paint and record the class en plein air. Dominique records the demos in HD and narrates as she works. You can watch, pause, rewind and paint along with the recording at your own pace. We will be painting 1 or 2 paintings per month. When you enroll you will be sent an email with instructions, materials list and links to references.

How It Works
Week 1 - July 7 - Intro and Q&A Class.
9:15am-10:00am (Pacific), 12:15pm-1:00pm (EST).
We will start our Plein air class with a little meet and greet. We will have a chance to say hello and go over the class schedule and I can answer any questions you may have.
10:00am Pacific, 12:15pm EST - Pre-recorded Class Demo link will be emailed to you.
The way to get the most out of the Demo video is to first watch it. Most of the questions you have will be covered in the demo.
Then using either the video and/or still reference, do your painting. If you have been working with me or are more advanced feel free to paint along with me.
You have until the following Tuesday Evening at 9pm to upload a picture of your work for critique.
Critiques are optional but suggested. Late submissions are not critiqued.
Week 2 - July 14 - Live Critique Class.
9:15am-12:15pm (Pacific), 12:15pm -3:15pm (EST)
We will meet on zoom and do a live group critique class.
You can submit questions in the slack channel #questions-and-answers or in the Zoom chat during the class
Homework between week 2 and 3. Take the insights from the lesson and critique and make it your own. Try our the process on a composition of your own choosing. Paint it in a 3-5 hour timeframe and work with the 4 steps. Share your work with your fellow students in the #hangout channel on Slack
