Course Outline:  

Drawing is a fundamental skill that underpins all classical art. Drawing the Portrait on toned paper using both black and white charcoal is a great way to develop your understanding of proportions, value structure and rendering form. I will provide demos, breaking down the process of drawing into clear and consecutive steps, as well as critique and instruction each session. This class is open to amateurs and professionals alike.

AM: 1 hr demo. Portrait drawing- 20min sessions with 5min breaks in between.
