Workshop Description | Portrait and Figure Painting with a Limited Palette
March 5-7 (3 Days)
9:00am- 4:00pm (MST)
Learn to create luminous, expressive portraits using a clear and systematic four-step process. Working with a primary palette of seven colors, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of hue, value, and chroma while learning to accurately mix and organize color. Through demonstrations, individualized instruction, and critiques, students will strengthen their understanding of drawing, color, and form while developing a convincing likeness.
Open to all levels, though basic drawing skills are a plus. Anyone interested in learning a practical and effective approach to portrait painting is welcome.
Tuition: $485 + $60 model fee
