Theme for the month | Painting Light. We copy a painting by the master of light, Vermeer. You will have a choice of one of 3 images to copy. We will dive deep into the subtleties of capturing light and learn how to use edges and texture to create a feeling of atmosphere. This is a 4 week pose. In March we will be composing our own interior based on what we learned this month.
Dominique demonstrates the painting process and breaks it down into clear steps. We use a limited palette to help us understand color theory and relationships. Each week students receive critiques. Enjoy lifetime access to class and critique videos
Long Pose Class | In this class we focus on Portrait, Figure, Interiors, Still Life and Landscape. The exercises range from 4-8 weeks.
