Theme for the month: Glazing and Scumbling
This month we will paint a portrait and give some extra time and attention to the subtle and interesting work of glazing and scumbling. These 2 techniques add layers and depth to our painting. We will paint a portrait as well as paint some small objects to practice different techniques. In addition to the supplies on the materials list below, have an 11x14 canvas/panel and several 5x7 or 8x10 panels ready. Also have either Liquin or Galkyd on hand, We want to make sure our paintings dry between sessions.
This class will be taught online using Zoom
Need to miss a lesson…no problem! Class is recorded and sent to you after each session (critique classes are not recorded). Recordings are available to the class for 1 month
