Theme for the month | The Portrait Sketch. After the summers break we start the fall season with painting single session alla prima portraits. We will focus on the 4 main aspects of a portrait: Proportion, Value, Color, and Edge. We will use a limited palette of 7 colors that is designed to help us understand color theory and color relationships and aim to capture a likeness in 3 hours. This is a great way to loosen up and get back into the grove of regular practice
This class will be taught online using Zoom
