Course Outline:  

Understanding Proportion and Value are essential in our training as artists. Painting in gray tones (Grisaille) helps us to understand value structure in paintings. The benefit of eliminating color is that it allows us to give our full attention to rendering forms and the play of light and shade. Instructor Dominique Medici will start with a demo and break down the process of painting into clear and consecutive steps.
