Portrait and Figure Drawing for All Levels
Date(s): Sept 19 − 23 (Monday – Friday)
Time: 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM (EST)
Tuition: $465
Workshop Description:
The directness of pencil and charcoal on paper makes them great materials for learning proportions and values. Drawing can seem intimidating, but it is manageable when we break down the process into small steps. We will work from a combination of old master drawings and models. Our class will focus on the portrait and figure, and we will work on both white and toned paper. Medici will demo each session and each student receives individual critiques each session. This class is open to all levels.
In this workshop you will learn how to…
Simplify and translate proportions from 3d- 2d
Average and mass values shapes
Model form with 3 edge types
Enrollment Opens Aug 1
